Use of HB-521 "School Facilities"

• Used to repair, maintain, or construct new, etc.
• $4.4 Million over 10 Years
• Lump Sum or Annual Distribution
• If Annual is chosen, then the District must pay down additional tax debt (Bonds, Levies First)

Use of HB-521 "School Facilities"

• Must File a 10 Year Plan

4- or 5-Day School Week Provision to Access Funds

• 4 Day Weeks Must Meet Minimum Day and Hours (not set till Aug. 1, 2024)

• Remember No Lottery Money!  (Currently $150,000 a year goes away)
• This needs to meet all building needs for the next 10 years (2034)
