Hello All! I hope that everyone is having a good day so far! Today's Events JH Boys Basketball CV vs St. Peter & Paul @ CVHS 4:30 pm - 8th grade game only. They will play 6 quarters.  We will be recognizing our five 8th grade players today. This will start at approximately 4:20 pm. Our five 8th graders this year are Liam White, Tovin Lundgren, Brennan Biesecker, Lenix Jones & Jay Funderburg. The game will be on the NFHS and we do not have concessions tonight. Good Morning! I hope that everyone had a safe, Happy Thanksgiving with friends, family and loved ones! HS boys basketball & HS wrestling will get their seasons underway this week as the HS boys basketball team will travel to Nezperce tomorrow to take on the Nighthawks in a league contest and the HS wrestling team will be traveling to Potlatch on Saturday, December 7th to compete in the Dick Griswold Invitational. Times for all contests are on the Ram Sheet. Just a reminder that the HS boys basketball team is competing at the 1A level this year. The annual Upriver Rampage is this Thursday, December 5th vs Kamiah! This will be varsity only contests, with the girls game at 6 pm and the boys game at 7:30 pm. It will be a night of fun filled events! Please bring in canned goods and non perishable items to help support our local food banks to help those in need during the holiday season! Also, please bring in your canned goods and non perishable items to help fill the bus for the Upriver Rampage. The bus is parked at Cloninger's Marketplace in Kooskia, and there will be CV students there to take your donations! You can also bring in your donations to the HS & CVE offices! Go Rams!!! Results JH Boys Basketball (11/21) 7th Grade Game - There was no 8th Grade Game CV 24 Culdesac 11 HS Girls Basketball (11/22) CV 44 Troy 41 The HS girls basketball team is now 3-0! Go Rams!!! Congratulations to Taya Pfefferkorn for being named this week's Ram of the Week! Taya is a Senior on the HS girls basketball team. Her and the rest of the Lady Rams basketball team is out to a 3-0 start to their season! She also competed in HS volleyball and competes in HS Rodeo. Nice work! Go Rams!!! Today's Events JH Boys Basketball CV vs Orofino 4:30 pm @ CVHS - 7th grade game will be a 1/2 game (2 quarters) and the 8th grade game will be a full game (4 quarters). The game will be broadcasted on the NFHS and we still do not have any concessions at this time. HS Girls Basketball CV @ St. John Bosco 6 pm - This is a Varsity only contest. I will be accompanying them at Lewiston HS this Wednesday, November 20th from 10 am - 12 pm. The sportsmanship symposium is held each year in order for schools to come together and discuss the pros and cons of sportsmanship around our district. Attendees will return to their schools with new knowledge and skills to create a better environment at their schools. This year the focus is on how administrators and student leaders can work together to improve sportsmanship. Congratulations to Evelyn Ward for being named this last week's Ram of the Week! Evelyn is a Senior this year that competes for both the CV-K HS Cross Country team and the CVHS Track team. Evelyn made it to state this Fall in Cross Country and will be looking to make it to state as well this following Spring in HS track. Evelyn also participates in HS Drama.
