HS Football Results
CV 50
Troy 18
Thank you to everyone that came out last Friday night to help cheer on the boys to victory and send the Seniors out on a winning note! With the win, the team ended the season with back to back wins and ended the season ranked #13 in the 2A Classification. We missed the playoffs by one spot. In the 2A ranks the top 12 go to state.
This season was a memorable one as we played one of the toughest schedules in a very long time here at CV that I can remember, with our first 7 opponents being ranked #9 or higher. With the win last Friday night, our 7 Seniors consisting of Jake Fabbi, Carson Schilling (Out for the season this year), Oliver Allen, Raphael Kessler, Leighton Davis, Josh Gardner and Tiago Pickering (Missed the first 6 weeks of the season from the start of summer practices) won 16 games in their HS career here at CV and have helped set a foundation for years to come.
I am very proud of this group of young men as they competed hard all season. I want to also thank all of my assistant coaches Jake Schilling, Carlos Martinez, Alan Reuben and Ben Barger for a job well done. I could not do it without them and appreciate them all! I also want to thank all the game management people Josh Bradley, Mike Dominguez, Lora Reuben, Arby Shown, Robert Altman, Vinnie Martinez, Loretta Childers, Alana & Mike Curtis for concessions, Michelle Fabbi for always taking amazing pictures and helping me with Senior Night programs and everyone else that I failed to mention. I also want to thank all of the parents, fans and community! I appreciate you all! Go Rams!!!

Hello All!
I hope that everyone has had a good day so far!
Today's Events
HS Football - Senior Night
CV vs Troy
5th Quarter (JV) 6 pm
Senior Night Recognition 6:40 pm
Kickoff 7 pm
The game will be on the NFHS and I have attached rosters for both teams for those of you that follow along online from home. There will also be concessions! Also, the KYRO cheerleaders will be cheering and performing at tonight's game as well!
This is the last home game and the last game of the regular season! We will be honoring our 6 Seniors tonight! Thos 6 Seniors are Oliver Allen, Jake Fabbi, Leighton Davis, Josh Gardner, Tiago Pickering and Raphael Kessler. I have coached these young men for all 4 years of their HS careers, with Josh Gardner being the exception. I have only coached him for 3 years. He transferred down from Deary his Freshman year after football season was over. I have attached a picture of them as well. I have them listed in order as they appear in the picture from Left to Right, with Raphael standing at the bottom of the picture.
I also want to recognize Senior Carson Schilling. Carson was unable to take football this year due to an injury he suffered at football team camp this past June at Montana Tech in Butte, MT. Carson was a big loss for us this season on both sides of the football. It has eaten at me all season that he was not able to play this year as a Senior, as I know it has him as well. I just want him to know as well, that he was on the team in spirit all year long!
This group of Seniors have won 15 games in their HS career and are going for their 16th win tonight vs Troy. This group of Seniors have also been to the state playoffs twice in their career and with a win tonight, and some help from some other games, could get in a 3rd time. We are currently ranked #13 and the top 12 go to state at the 2A level, so we will see what happens. You never know until everything is final.
No matter what happens though, I am very proud of this group of Seniors. It has been my pleasure and a joy to have been their head coach the last 4 years. I know each and every one of them will go on to a career after HS and be successful in whatever they choose to do. I wish them all the best! Go Rams!!!

I have attached flyers on Youth Vaping Education For Parents and IdahoSports Win For Education. Here is a some information below from Brandon Baney from IdahoSports.
This is Brandon Baney from IdahoSports.com. I'm reaching out one last time about our contest we are conducting along with IDEAL - Idaho's College Savings Program, for a $529 giveaway to one lucky student from a Class 2A or 1A school in Idaho.
The deadline to enter the contest is this Friday, October 25th, just before midnight. The prize can be used towards an Idaho Education Savings Account. It can be used for college, trade school, apprenticeships, graduate programs, and more. It can even go into an IRA!
After checking with the folks from IDEAL, there are two important updates to the last email I sent to you:
1. If a student is under the age of 18, their parent needs to enter the contest for them.
2. This contest is open to ANY student, K-12. So families with multiple children in school should register ALL of them.
Here is the link to enter as well!
