I hope that everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed the sunshine! There is alot going on this week! We have Spirit Week this week! Kentucky Derby Style! Here are the dress up days for the week: Monday - Rodeo Day Tuesday - Wear your best Derby hat/suit Wednesday - Give someone a rose day....buy it, draw it, make it Thursday - Wear your favorite Jockey's colors I wanted to give a shout out to Wyatt Anderberg and Anthony Fabbi. Wyatt was Ram of the Week last week and Anthony was named the P1FCU Prep Athlete of the Week! Nice job and congratulations to both! It is HS Tennis Senior Day today. The HS Tennis team will be competing against Culdesac & Orofino today. The action starts at 4 pm. I will be honoring our four Tennis Seniors before the start of the matches. Our four seniors this year are Axl Fairbank, Keegan Robeson, Ethan Broussea & Brooke Romney. Good luck to our 4 seniors and to the rest of the team! Go Rams!!! There have been a couple of changes made to the HS Tennis schedule. The CVHS tennis team will be playing Grangeville HS @ Clarkston tomorrow (4/28). This is a singles make-up league match that will start at 9 am.  Also, Senior Night has been moved from May 10th to May 1st. This will be against the same two teams, Culdesac & Orofino and this will start at the same time at 4 pm. Our Seniors are Axl Fairbank, Keegan Robeson, Ethan Brousseau & Brooke Romney. I will honor them before the matches start at 4 pm, so approximately at around 3:50 pm.

The HS baseball doubleheader vs Genesee today has been moved to 3 pm/5 pm. The original start time was 2 pm/4 pm.

The Prairie HS Track Meet at Cottonwood that was cancelled last week (4/18) has been rescheduled on May 2nd. This will be a 1 +1 (varsity, then JV) and the JV game that was scheduled at Clearwater Field in Lewiston vs Troy on 4/28 has been cancelled. Just a reminder that the HS Softball game @ Kamiah is Tuesday 4/25 at 4 pm. This was a rescheduled game that was cancelled from before. Also, the doubleheader vs Kendrick at 3 pm/5 pm at home that was rescheduled for 4/27 has been moved to 5/1. Thank you to all who came out to support the HS softball team on Senior Day! The softball team split with Genesee, winning the first game 5-3 and then dropping the second game 7-2. Nice job! Go Rams!!! BPA National Leadership Council will be Wednesday April 26th - Sunday April 30th in Anaheim, California.Our three students that will be competing  are Rayne Martinez, Autum Martinez and Jerod Murray.Rayne will be competing in Health Administration Procedures andRayne, Jerod, and Autum will compete in "Open" Academic Events that test their workforce comprehension and skills in a variety of career fields. They will also participate in leadership training/workshops. They will be accompanied by Mr. Vincent Martinez and I have attached a picture of the three students as well. Congratulations and Good luck to all! HS Rodeo will be this Friday (4/28) - Sunday (4/30) at Lewiston. I am not sure about the times as of now, but will get that out as soon as I have times. Good luck to Taya Pfefferkorn, Shada Edwards, and Macy Morrow! The JH Music Festival will be this Wednesday 4/26 at CVHS. This will be an all day event from 8:30 am - 3:20 pm inside the CVHS Main Gym. There will be schools from all over. I have attached a sheet so that you can see who is playing and when. 

The HS Tennis team is in action tomorrow (4/22) for their League #2 Match. It will not only take place at CDA HS, but will also be at Cherry Hill in CDA as well. The action starts at 9 am. The HS Track team will be in action at Kamiah HS tomorrow (4/22) as they will be competing in the Whitepine League Championships starting at 10 am. They will be recognizing all Seniors from the Whitepine League. We have one Senior on the HS Track team and that is David Whiteman. David throws the shot put and the discus. David also participated in football during the fall. They will be honoring all the Seniors at approximately 10:40 am. The Rams are in sole possession of 1st place with a 6-0 League record and a 9-7 overall record! With the win, CV is in the driver seat for a Whitepine League Championship! HS Tennis is still a go for this afternoon. The HS team will be at Lewiston JV at 4 pm. Also, the HS baseball games scheduled for today at 3 pm/5 pm at home vs Kendrick are a go as well. It is scheduled as a doubleheader and we will try to get both games in, but if we can get at least one game in, that will be better than nothing. We will see! The HS Track team is not going to the Prairie HS Track meet today. The meet has not been cancelled as of now, CV is choosing not to go. I will send out more information on this as I receive it. The HS baseball games at home vs Grangeville today have been cancelled and moved to tomorrow 4/5. The Varsity game will start at 4:30 pm, with the JV game to follow (1+1).

I hope that everyone had a good Spring Break! We have a few sporting events this week and hopefully the weather cooperates! HS Baseball plays a 1+1 tomorrow 4/4 vs Grangeville. A 1+1 means that there is a varsity contest followed by a 5 inning JV contest. The doubleheader HS Softball game on Thursday 4/6 that was supposed to be at Grangeville, is now at home due to Grangeville's field not being playable yet. The times are still at 3:30 pm/5:30 pm.
