The CV-K HS wrestling team will not be going to Grangeville this weekend to compete in the Andrew Beck Memorial Tournament. The boys are going to take the weekend off completely, and we will have one lone female wrestler, Jesse Rice, who will be going down to compete in the Jaybird Tournament at Nampa HS this Friday (1/10) and Saturday (1/11). The CV-K wrestling team will be back in action the following weekend as they will head to Lewiston to compete in the Clearwater Classic at Lewiston HS. Good luck Jesse! Go Rams!!!

HS Girls Basketball CV 28 Highland 34 With the loss, the Lady Rams are now 2-6 in league play and 4-7 overall. The Lady Rams are back in action this Saturday, January 11th vs Troy at CVHS 3 pm. HS Boys Basketball CV 64 Highland 32 With the win, the Rams are 6-0 in league play and 6-2 overall and still holding on to the #8 ranking in the state for the 1A ranks. Jake took first this past weekend at the JO-HI wrestling tournament at Joseph HS in Joseph, Oregon. Just a reminder that we will have JH wrestling and JH girls basketball starting up when we come back from Winter break. JH wrestling will start on Monday, January 6th. This will be for grades 6th - 8th. Practices will be held after school in the CVHS back gym starting at 4 pm. JH girls basketball will start the following Monday on January 13th. This is for grades 6th-8th as well and practices will be held at CVE starting at 4 pm. Student athletes, please make sure to get all of your paperwork in/sports fees paid before the start of your respective practices. I know several of you will already have your paperwork in from participating in a previous sport this year, you will just need to pay another sports fee. The sports fee for each sport in JH is $69. The JH boys basketball game today at St. John Bosco has been cancelled due to sickness and moved to Friday, December 20th. The game will still be at St. John Bosco at 4:30 pm. The only change is that the 8th grade will play first, then the 7th grade.
