We had Mrs. Counts take four students yesterday to a Youth In Government Regional Conference at Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston. Those four students were Jordan Murray, Autum Martinez, Sypress Martinez and Evelyn Ward. The students ran for state youth positions and participated in workshops on how to create a bill. Autum was elected Secretary of the Senate for the State Conference that will be held later this Spring. Nice work to all of our students and Mrs. Counts for taking them! Go Rams!!! Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, February 5th & Thursday, February 6th from 4 pm - 7:30 pm on both nights. On the night of the 5th only, RTI will have hot dogs for refreshments. Please welcome our SRO (new school resource officer), Deputy Watkins. An SRO is a law enforcement officer assigned to a school to help ensure safety and security. SROs build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents while addressing safety concerns, preventing crime, and serving as role models. They also provide guidance and promote a safe learning environment through education and support. We are so excited to work with Deputy Watkins.

The CV-K HS wrestling team will not be going to Grangeville this weekend to compete in the Andrew Beck Memorial Tournament. The boys are going to take the weekend off completely, and we will have one lone female wrestler, Jesse Rice, who will be going down to compete in the Jaybird Tournament at Nampa HS this Friday (1/10) and Saturday (1/11).
