I wanted to thank everyone that came out to the HS Senior Night football game this last Friday night (10/20). We sent our 8 seniors; Bass Myers, Max de Levie, Nolan Giovannetti, David Davis, Mason Whitcomb, Landon Schlieper, Trebor Altman and Myatt Osborn out with a 54-6 win vs Troy. With the win we finished our season at 2-6 Overall and 2-5 in League. I know that it wasn't the season that we were hoping for, but the boys battled through injuries and inexperience all year long and I am proud of them for that. This is the first year that CV will not be going to the state football playoffs in 5 years. On a good note, this Senior class has won 19 games in their HS football career and have helped set a foundation and winning ways to carry into next year, as we have a lot of players coming back from injury and in general. Thank you again everyone! Go Rams!!! Good luck to our HS State Cross Country runners that will be competing at the state meet this coming Saturday, October 28th at the Portneuf Wellness Center in Pocatello. The races begin at 10 am.
