Hello All! The Upriver Rampage is tomorrow (12/6) at Kamiah HS. The bus is going to leave the CV parking lot at 4:30 pm (or a little after). There will be a police escort for the team traveling to Kamiah HS as well! Let's make sure we pack the gym and bring our school pride! Go Rams!!! If you can, please continue to bring in those canned food goods! You can bring them into the HS or the elementary school! This Thursday (11/30) at 11 am in the main CVHS gym we will be having a signing day for Jessica Ketola. Jessica is a Senior this year and is a standout pitcher for the softball team. Jessica will be signing to continue her softball career with Spoon River College in Canton, Illinois. This is a 2 year Junior College. She will be studying Diesel Mechanics and Communications while she is there. Nice job Jessi on putting in the hard work and getting the opportunity to continue playing at the next level!

Congratulations to the following CV students for being selected to participate in the Idaho All-State Honor Band & Choir that will be held January 31st - February 3rd in Nampa! Cassidy Thibert was selected for All-State Band and Ella Hale was selected for All-State Treble Choir! Good luck to both of you! Go Rams!!! The JH Boys Basketball Season will get underway today (11/7) at home as the Rams will welcome the Prairie Pirates to town. The game will be at 4:30 pm. They will also practice on Saturday, November 11th at 8 am (I put that on the Ram Sheet as well). For those of you that were not able to make it to the HS State Cross Country Meet this last Saturday, October 28th at the Portneuf Wellness Center in Pocatello, here is the link for all of the results 1A - 5A. Congratulations to Cassidy Thibert with a 43rd place finish with a time of 23:12.74 and Evelyn Ward with a 44th place finish with a time of 23:26.63. There were a total of 73 runners in the Women's 1A race. Congratulations to Dayton Mitzkus for placing 43rd with a time of 19:14.40 in the Men's 1A race. There were 104 runner's in the men's race. The Fall Concert will be this Wednesday, October 25th at 7 pm at CVHS. This will be for HS Band and Choir students only. If you can make it, please do! The JH Volleyball team will have their last 2 games of the season this week and they are both at home starting with Prairie on Tuesday (10/24) and Nezperce on Thursday (10/26). Other CVHS Student Council members will attend various workshops to bring home new ideas and information to better serve our school. Participants also listen to keynote speakers that provide valuable and useful information to assist them in developing their leadership skills. This year students will hear from Idaho Governor Brad Little and Dr. Phil Cambell, two dynamic speakers who inspire participants to lead with courage, integrity, and pride. HS Girls Basketball season will start this next Monday, October 30th after school. The new coach is Sky Wilson. I wanted to thank everyone that came out to the HS Senior Night football game this last Friday night (10/20). We sent our 8 seniors; Bass Myers, Max de Levie, Nolan Giovannetti, David Davis, Mason Whitcomb, Landon Schlieper, Trebor Altman and Myatt Osborn out with a 54-6 win vs Troy. With the win we finished our season at 2-6 Overall and 2-5 in League. I know that it wasn't the season that we were hoping for, but the boys battled through injuries and inexperience all year long and I am proud of them for that. This is the first year that CV will not be going to the state football playoffs in 5 years. On a good note, this Senior class has won 19 games in their HS football career and have helped set a foundation and winning ways to carry into next year, as we have a lot of players coming back from injury and in general. Tonight is our Senior Night Football game vs Troy at CVHS at 7 pm. We will be recognizing our 8 football Seniors tonight before the game. Our 8 Seniors are Bass Myers, Trebor Altman, Landon Schlieper, Max de Levie, David Davis, Mason Whitcomb, Myatt Osborn and Nolan Giovannetti. I hope that you can all make it down to the game tonight as we try to send these seniors out on a high note with a victory vs. Troy! There will be concessions (the best in the league run by the Schlieper family) and the game will be broadcasted on the NFHS Network. Joshua Crosby will be singing the National Anthem tonight. If you were here for the final JH football game last night and heard him, he is amazing! Go Rams!!! We will also be honoring our 3 Cross Country seniors at halftime of the football game tonight vs. Troy. Our 3 seniors are Dayton Mitzkus, Wyatt Anderberg and Cassidy Thibert. Our 3 seniors, along with Evelyn Ward (Junior) all did amazing at Regionals yesterday and all 4 are going to state! Cassidy came in 5th, Evelyn 8th, Dayton 12th and Wyatt 6th! Awesome job to all of our cross country runners! Go Rams!!! The JH football season ended last night with a loss to Genesee 30-6 in the 2nd Annual North vs. South matchup. The team played hard and battled throughout the whole game! It was the last JH game for our four 8th graders Jesse Rice, Lane Thibert, Kaden Carter and Jacoby Fignanni. Good morning! HS Cross Country Regionals today at the Lewiston Orchard's Course in Lewiston. The Girls race will start at 2 pm and the boys race will start at 2:45 pm.
