Good morning everyone! There is a lot happening in sports this week! JH Girls Basketball will be on the NFHS Network today and there will be concessions (limited). Good luck ladies! If you can, please come and watch as our Seniors Macy Morrow, Santana Simmons, Camille Stewart and Rayne Martinez will play in their last home game of their HS careers! Just a reminder that our HS Football game this week @ Potlatch is on a Thursday and it starts an hour earlier....6pm instead of 7pm. Every team in the Whitepine League was scheduled a Thursday game to help out with the referee shortage. I hope to see you all there! Congratulations to Anthony Fabbi for being named this Week's Ram of the Week! Anthony had 3 total touchdowns. He had 2 receiving touchdowns and a kickoff return for 70 yards. His Kickoff return is in the running for the overall play of the week in Idaho. He had over 200 all purpose yards as well! Last, but not least, the JH Football game is on Wednesday this week instead of Thursday. This will be at home vs Timberline and the start time is the same at 4:30 pm. FFA will be Livestock Judging at the Lewis County Fair this evening in Cottonwood at 7pm. Also, just a reminder that our HS Football game vs Genesee will be on the NFHS Network as well. Come on down and support these young men as we look to improve our record to 4-2 Overall and 3-1 in League play. Kickoff is at 7pm! I just wanted to give a shout out to Coach Carlos Martinez, Coach Dan Fabbi and the JH Football team for going down to Lapwai last night and battling hard. Even though they came up short 20-14, the kids never quit and I am proud of them! Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Due to sickness and no refs available to cover, tonight's home volleyball match vs Deary has been cancelled. There is no make-up date at this time.

Just a reminder that the JH Girls Basketball game at Orofino today at 4:30 pm will be played at the Orofino Elementary Gym. This will not be broadcasted. Good luck Lady Rams! There will not be 2 games tonight for JH Girls Basketball vs Prairie. There will only be an 8th grade game now and it will be played at 4:30 pm. There will be concessions (limited) that will be run by Ethan Brousseau. This is his Senior Project. Help support him if you can. Just a reminder that the game will be on the NFHS Network. Also, I have had 3 or 4 people reach out to me asking if there was a home HS Volleyball match this Thursday vs Potlatch, there is not. This was changed and updated awhile back. That game will be played on October 8th, with JV beginning at 2pm. GO RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to the HS Volleyball team as they picked up their first league win on the season and won their third game in a row! Let's keep it going! They won't be in action again until next Thursday at Troy. The JH Girls Basketball will have their first home game tonight vs Prairie. Good morning everyone! I hope that everyone had a great weekend! I first of all wanted to thank everyone that came out to the Homecoming Parade and football game on Friday Night! What an electrifying atmosphere! That was something fun and special to be a part of and I along with all of the coaches and team thank you for that! Congratulations to the HS Volleyball team for their win Saturday vs Highland! Great job coaches and ladies! Just a reminder that the HS Volleyball match vs St. John Bosco tonight is at CV starting at 6 pm. The game will be on the NFHS Network. The Varsity will play first, then the JV to follow. Also, the JH Girls Basketball game that was scheduled today, will now be played on Wednesday at 4:30 pm vs Prairie. The KYRO Youth football game is at Grangeville today starting at 6 pm. The game vs Prairie on Wednesday could be here or there or it might even be a home game vs Kamiah. The details are still being worked out and I will get that out for you asap. They do not have results posted yet for the HS Cross Country Meet that took place at Prairie on Saturday, but I wanted to congratulate Wyatt Anderberg for taking second place. Nice job Wyatt! I have attached a flyer for Child Passenger Safety Week. If you are an expecting mom or a parent with kids in car seats, if you show up to any of these places on the dates listed, they will inspect your car seat and give you a new one if it is defective or recalled. They will also make sure that it is properly installed as well.

I have attached the article from the newspaper for our Homecoming Football game tomorrow night vs Lapwai. The activities will go as follows. 3pm - 3:30pm - Parade Line up4pm - Homecoming Parade7pm - Homecoming game vs Lapwai- Homecoming Dance to follow immediately after the game till Midnight The Homecoming Parade will take place in beautiful downtown Kooskia, ID! I have attached the flyer for the fundraiser for Alan Rueben. Alan is our JH Girls Basketball Coach and a very good friend of mine that was diagnosed with cancer. They will be selling pizza on Friday night to help raise money. I hope that everyone will support this. The KYRO Youth Football game scheduled at Kamiah tonight at 6pm has been cancelled due to Air Quality. There is no reschedule date at this time. I will let you know if it does.

Due to Air Quality the Powderpuff Game has been cancelled. They voted to play Dodgeball instead. Here is the list of events now. DODGEBALL - 5PM VOLLEYBALL - 7PM This will be held in the CVHS Main Gym.
