Good afternoon everyone! I hope that everyone had a good weekend! First of all I want to congratulate our HS Wrestling Team for a fantastic showing at the Idaho HS State Championships down in Pocatello over the weekend. We had several kids bring home medals! Here they are listed below. Daring Cross - 2nd Keyan Boller - 3rd Jake Fabbi - 5th Louie Fabbi - 5th Bass Myers - 6th Isaac Goodwin - 6th Porter Whipple - 6th Once again Congratulations to Coach Martinez, Coach Wilkins, Coach Williams and the whole wrestling team for a great season! Congratulations to all the medal winners! The day in and day out grind of a wrestling season takes its toll on everyone and I am proud of all of these individuals as I know the community and surrounding area is as well! The Boys and Girls Senior Showcase game will be held on March 11th at Lapwai HS starting with the Girls game at 6 pm, with the Boys game to follow. One Senior is selected from each school with alternates if needed. Our Seniors are Edoardo Miconi for the Boys and Kadance Schilling for the Girls. Congratulations to you both! You will notice on the Ram Sheet this morning the game at St. John Bosco today. This is a rescheduled game from earlier this year that St. John Bosco had to cancel. This will be a 6th/7th Grade contest only. Spring Sports are in full swing and with that comes weather and cancellation and moving around of games. Hopefully the weather does not alter the schedules too much. Umps are still a shortage, so we will have to navigate through that as well. I hope that everyone has a good day and week! Go Rams!!!!!

I first wanted to congratulate the HS BB team on their season. With the loss to Genesee last night 54-49, their season has come to an end. The boys battled hard all season and with several returners coming back next year, look to take that next step. Best of luck to all of our Seniors that were on the team. There will be a Driver's Education Meeting tomorrow night in Mr. Francis room at 6 pm at the Junior High. Also, the Pops Concert slated for tomorrow night at the CVHS Gym is at 6pm, not the previous stated time of 7pm. This was a last minute change. Just a reminder that the Spring Sports Meeting is tonight at 6pm in the CVHS Gym at 6pm. Any students along with their parents, who wish to participate in JH Track, HS Track, Baseball, Softball and Tennis need to attend. Thank you and Go Rams!!!

Congratulations to the HS GBB for their District win last night vs Troy. With the 46-41 win, the Ladies finished third and earned the right to play this Saturday at Post Falls HS at Noon on Saturday. We will play the winner of Lakeside/Wallace. These two teams will play Thursday night. Good luck to the HS BB team tonight as they head up the hill to take on our neighbors the Grangeville Bulldogs for their Senior Night. The game will be broadcasted on the NFHS Pixellott System. This Saturday is also Senior Night for the HS BB team. In conjunction with Senior Night, we want to pack the gym in support of Coach Shira's daughter who was diagnosed with an incurable muscle disease called Myopathy. In honor of this, the team is wearing pink jerseys with Coach Shira's daughter's name on them. I rescheduled this game for a later time, so those who wanted to make it back after the HS GBB State Play-in game would have a chance to do so. If you can, come down and watch and wear Pink in support of this. This game will also be on the NFHS Pixellott System. Good luck to all of our teams this week! Safe travels to everyone that will be going places to different events this week! Go Rams!!!

For those of you who cannot make it to Potlatch tonight to watch the boys can watch it on the NFHS Pixellott system. The JV Boys will start at 6pm and the Varsity will start around 7pm. The JV are only playing 2 quarters. The HS GBB District game at Lapwai on Saturday will start at 6pm. Masks will be required and they do have masks there at the door I was told. Just a reminder, that no passes of any kind will be honored, unless it is an IHSAA Pass. As of now, they do not know if it will be broadcasted on their Youtube channel or not. If they do, I will let you know. The HS Wrestling Tournament at Challis will not be broadcasted on anything and masks are not required there. Good luck to all of our athletes!!!! Go Rams!!!!!!

I just received info on when and where the HS GBB play-in game will be held. Our HS GBB team currently holds the third seed for the District Tournament and if everything holds true, could end up playing in this game vs either Wallace or Lakeside. The game will be on February 12th at Post Falls at Noon. This also happens to be our Senior Night for our HS BB team vs Orofino. With no other date to reschedule Orofino, the game times for the night have been moved to as follows. JV BOYS (1/2 GAME) 7:30 PM VARSITY BOYS 8:30 PM This will give a chance for our fans the opportunity to attend both if they choose to. For those of you that will be going up to watch the girls if they happen to make the play-in game, can also go to the Lake City HS Wrestling tournament as well if they choose afterwards. The High School Wrestling Team will be at Lake City HS (Coeur D'Alene) for the day, with wrestling beginning at 10 AM. This is the last HS wrestling tournament before we host Districts the following Saturday at CVHS. Safe travels to everyone and Go Rams!!!
