On a day when most of us just want to stay inside by the fire; Mrs. Simmons sees it as an opportunity to launch their science experiment! Students constructed a balloon out of a garbage bag, straws, and candles. Mrs. Simmons lit the candles, while the students held the balloon, and once all the candles were lit and as heat rises, the balloons took off! We even had a bald eagle swoop in to see what was going on!
